Pregnancy Physiotherapy in Drogheda

Helping bumps stay strong and bodies stay calm.

Pregnancy is a beautiful journey — but it also brings physical changes that can lead to discomfort, strain, or pain. At BodyRight Physio, our Women’s Health Chartered Physiotherapists provide specialised Pregnancy Physiotherapy to help you stay active, move comfortably, and prepare your body for both birth and recovery.

Too often, women experiencing pregnancy-related back or pelvic pain are given only crutches or a support belt. But so much more can be done. When your body’s mechanics are gently balanced through expert physiotherapy, pain can ease — and in many cases, resolve completely.

Common Conditions We Treat

Our pregnancy physiotherapy sessions are tailored to your individual body and your stage of pregnancy. We commonly support women experiencing:

  • Pelvic pain (lower back, hips, abdomen, pelvic girdle, or pubic bone)

  • Neck and shoulder tension

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome (numbness or tingling in the hands)

  • Foot, leg, or ankle pain

  • Pelvic floor weakness or bladder leakage

Addressing these symptoms early helps you enjoy a more comfortable pregnancy — but even in the third trimester, physiotherapy can make a remarkable difference in your comfort and your birth experience.

Prenatal, Postnatal & Mother & Baby Pilates

about us

Alongside physiotherapy, we offer dedicated Pilates classes led by our Women’s Health Physiotherapists:

✔ Prenatal Pilates

✔ Postnatal Pilates

✔ Mother & Baby Pilates

These classes are designed to:

  • Strengthen your pelvic floor and deep core

  • Improve posture and alignment

  • Increase flexibility and balance

  • Support a smoother delivery and recovery

  • Provide practical guidance for pregnancy and early motherhood

Our Mother & Baby Pilates classes are a lovely way to exercise safely with your baby, build confidence, and connect with other mums — often over a warm cuppa afterwards. Both mum and baby grow stronger together week by week.

For a more personal approach, you can book 1:1 Pilates sessions, tailored to your stage of pregnancy or postpartum recovery.

Our goal is simple: to help you feel strong, supported, and confident throughout pregnancy and beyond.
