Pilates Assessment & Starter Session in Drogheda
Your personalised starting point — safe, clinical, and tailored to YOU.
Before joining a Pilates class at BodyRight, we recommend booking a Pilates Assessment with one of our Chartered Physiotherapists.
This ensures your programme matches your injury history, physical needs, and fitness level — giving you the safest and most effective experience.
about us

What Is a Pilates Assessment?
A Pilates Assessment is a one-to-one session with a CORU-registered Chartered Physiotherapist to evaluate how your body moves, identify any injuries or limitations, and determine the safest and most effective Pilates programme for you.
It ensures that every exercise you do — in class or 1:1 — is appropriate for your body, your goals, and your current level of strength, flexibility, and control.
During your assessment, we look at:
-
Posture, alignment, and movement patterns
-
Core, hip, and spinal control
-
Flexibility and mobility
-
Pelvic floor function (when relevant)
-
Previous injuries or health considerations
-
Your goals (pain relief, strength, postpartum recovery, performance, etc.)
You will leave with a clear understanding of which Pilates class is right for you and what you need to focus on to progress safely.
